EXCURSION TO THE CHALET ON MOUNT ROYAL

Leaving the centre at 10 a.m.

Together we’ll explore Smith House and take a walk up to the top of Mount Royal, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of Montreal. Bring your lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and blanket.

 

EXPLORING A MODEL COMMUNITY GARDEN

WEDNESDAY, JULY 18. Leaving the centre at 9:30 a.m.

In collaboration with the Côte-des-Neiges Environmental Society, we’ll learn about the set-up at the City of Montréal community garden located between Van Horne and Darlington. A

picnic will finish our trip.

Come discover the treasures at the Grande Bibliothèque and take a summer break in Gamelin Park. Bring your lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and blanket.Important: do not bring big bags.

We will travel back to a tragic time in the history of Jewish communities and the world, through a guided tour of this museum located in our neighborhood.Important: do not bring big bags.

 

PICNIC IN KENT PARK AND HENNA

Leaving the centre at 11 a.m.

A time to relax in a park close to the centre. We’ll take advantage of this opportunity to discover the history and secrets of henna designs for hands, in collaboration with Sinthusha, a professional artist. Bring your lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and blanket.
